We first became aware of B.Love at Phonica Records when a brightly coloured record called ‘Music Dance Experience’ was eagerly thrust into the hands of Ralph Lawson on Record Store Day 2024.

The fresh sounds emanating from that disc, including the superbly tongue-in-cheek Oranj Juice, left Lawson mesmerised. However, he had no idea that the artist behind the record was also the resident DJ at Bizarre Traxx where he was on his way to play.

The Bizarre Trax party was superb, and Lawson busted out cuts from the Music Dance EP, which went down a storm with B.Love’s hometown crowd, and met the full crew, which also includes Felon 5 & Jhobei, all rising stars in the emerging London scene.

B.Love creates highly original music punctuated by frenetic beats, fast-moving synth programming and cut-up vocals, all delivered through his own unique take on house music.

For his debut release on 20/20 Vision, B.Love has created a wonderfully balanced EP that saunters between styles at its leisure taking on glitch house, reminiscent of Akufen and Perlon releases with Rhythm Freq, electro funk with Movement Feeling & Soda Junior before dropping a sly slice of ‘proper’ tech house with Bissous to close.
