2020 Vision Recordings

2020Soundsystem return with another remixed teaser from their excellent second album ‘Falling’ due in September. 

The original version is a deep, melancholic vocal track and has been a highlight of their recent tour dates in the U.S. including SXSW and Miami WMC.
On remix duties we are proud to have drafted in James Priestley and Will Saul, a couple of our good friends/favourite dj’s and their production partners who represent the very best of the London deep house scene, representing secretsundaze and Simple Records respectively, they are two of the most respected names on the scene.
James Priestley and Dan Berkson mixes are superb deep, groovy house mixes custom built for the summer season at James’ infamous secretsundaze parties.  With James’ ear for the dancefloor and Dan’s piano skills they have sculptured two essential mixes that use only select snippets of the original vocal, yet retain the vibe of the album version.  Already being played by the likes of Ame and Dixon these mixes are sure to be a highlight of many sets over the summer months and beyond.
Will Saul’s Simple and Aus labels are two of the most respected labels on the European house scene.  He again hooks up with Tam Cooper for their excellent remixes (included on the digital release) which keeps more of the original vocal intact and drops it over an incessant, bass heavy, locked on groove, with great use of some deep and spooky pads, making it another winning combination for lovers of the 2020 deep house sound.  They also provide a killer dub mix for those of the anti-vocal persuasion.
