2020Vision kicks thing off in fine style in 2009 with the first release from our brand new signing: Motor City Drum Ensemble.

MCDE is the recording alias for Danillo Plessow who also makes up half of the acclaimed Inverse Cinematics production duo (Pulver/Fluid Ounce) and showcases his house and techno leanings, taking his cues from the classic deep Detroit sound and the emerging deep house sound from Berlin.  Based in Stuttgart Danillo obviously sees these scenes from an outsiders perspective which means his music can take on these influences yet remain distinctively different and refreshingly unique.
2008 was a great year for MCDE with the release of the parts one and two in his highly acclaimed Raw Cuts series which have featured heavily in many best of 2008 house music charts, he also finished the year with an excellent Resident Advisor podcast and dj set at the Resident Advisor Christmas party
His ‘Get Slapped Up’ release on Compost Black and ‘Breath Control’ release on his own Four Roses have also been in the boxes of taste maker djs and seen him become an in demand producer of deep Detroit influenced House Music
This debut 2020 release features three superb tracks that take their inspiration from the likes of Detroit’s Theo Parrish and Carl Craig as well as the deep house sound of Berlin, yet retain the signature MCDE sound.
The title track ‘Lonely One’ sounds custom built for DC10, Ibizan terraces and Croatian boat parties with its cool pads, hypnotic vocals and lush deep house feel, it may be released in a freezing UK winter, but will transport you to a sunkissed island.
‘Frontin’ takes things even deeper with the signature MCDE rhodes at the forefront, loose beats rockin a Sound Signature style, and more intricate vocal samples, this is one for the heads and the worlds coolest dancefloors.
‘Keep Up’ retains the swing and the MCDE groove for another perfect example of Danillo’s house sound.
