Spirit Catcher return with the hot young Belgium producer Compuphonic (AKA Maxime Firket) under their wing. Spirit Catcher are still riding high on the success of their 'Night Vision' album, and have upcoming releases on NRK, Freerange (Only Freak) and Simple. Compuphonic had a successfull 2007 with releases on Tiga's Turbo label.
‘Mastermind’ is from the classic Spirit Catcher mould: locked-on, heads down, deep, hypnotic, solid, and as always expertly produced. Taking its cues from 'Thriller' era Qunicy Jones as much as from modern day electronic house. ‘Dream Machine’ brings back memories of 'Harmonize' from the Night Vision album with its dreamy synths, funky keys and peak time vibe. They have both been highlights of their recent live sets and real crowd favourites.
