Bumper, aka Geoffrey T and Mr Pauli, are an exciting new band from The Hague, with their debut release for us. On Cosmopolitan Lover they’re joined by vocalist Flashpointe from Marion, Illinois and combine superior production skills with a quirky edge which that sets this release apart from the crowd.
On remix duty is our fresh, young duo The Electric Press, who are back on board sharpish after releasing their latest EP Tone Control this month. Taking time out from their live schedule the pair prove one again that they can turn it on in the studio, knocking out yet more killer tracks.
These remixes see The Electric Press boys take the track to the floor and give you a full vocal mix to mime to at your favourite discoteque while attempting your Prince "air keyboards". The dub pays hommage to the current "Erotic Disco" sounds coming out of Leeds clubs. It takes the track firmly into the peak time with a break that devastates every time.
