Very limited run on Infant Records of one of the biggest underground tracks of the upcoming summer.
The clear vinyl promos literally flew of the shelves (was record of week at Phonica and were huge at Piccadilly).
Its now been signed to Playhouse for a full release with a wicked b-side, but here’s the last chance to get your hands on it until then.
It’s a superb deep, electronic house/techno odyssey that will appeal to fans of Planet E, Innervisions, Kompakt and Playhouse. Starting off with a menacing full bodied chord to announce its arrival it quickly weaves a heavily "groove quantized" hypnotic key board line around itself. When you talk about tracks "building" this one has written the book! Every peak is met with a brief moment of reprise until it gives it to you again. If that wasn't enough halfway through "Plastik" delivers an unexpected twist to the tale with an organ break reminiscent of Jay Dee's "Plastic Dreams" (is that the inspiration for the name?)
It will definitely be one of the summers biggest house anthems at clubs like DC10, Panorama Bar and Secret Sundaze.
