2020 Vision Recordings

Here it is, the eagerly anticipated follow up to the HUGE hit ‘Lip Trick’ released on 2020 vision last December. It’s been worth the wait!

This 3 track EP showcases various styles by the 2 lads from Leeds, still with the trademark catchy hooks and deep bass lines from the first release there is something for everyone here.

SEPARATED is a funked up concoction of guitar snippets ,bass stabs, and synths, with a breakdown that makes your hair stand on end. It’s rolling groove would suit any main or back room set nicely. Later in the track enters  techier, deeper elements that give the track a whole new feel while keeping the funk alive.

AEROSOL. Catchy isn’t the word! This synth riff has you grabbed from the word go! The hook keeps you entertained until the buzz of the 1st breakdown, with an underlying bassline that would make your gran proud!
The track continues its quest to keep you bouncing until the 2nd breakdown in the form of a well addictive distorted guitar hook that just makes you want more, and you get more, and more …and more….   Its all comes to a conclusion with the original hook falling back into place. Nice!

PANIC. A little darker than the first 2 tracks, but still keeping the fine drums falling bleeps and snippets to keep you interested. There’s a Synth line cutting through the track that sounds like a bee on ketamine. Along with some nice top end bleeps and squeaks and a breakdown to get you jumping , this is a well rounded finish to a great EP by the Lip Trick boys Simon Baker and Alex Grzybowski.
