2020 Vision Recordings

Confirmed vinyl junkies Crazy P and 2020 collaborate to release a limited edition  7” released in conjunction with record store day.  The one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.

Fascination is one of the most straight up pop songs from the Stop Space Return album and deserves a release on this classic pop music format.
On the b-side we are thrown a curveball in Benjamin James Smith’s (Smith & Mudd) cover version.  He took the lyrics and went into the studio to record his version after watching the Johnny cash biopic Walk The Line.  The result is a million miles from the Crazy P version, but not far from what Johnny Cash would have done in his heyday, and hence why his version is housed in Sun Records inspired artwork.
All in all this is a very quirky and collectable release from Crazy P and 2020Vision and a testament to the wonderful independent record stores around the world.
